What is the point of your journey? Longevity? Survival? Thriving? Creativity? Procreation? Wisdom? Virtue? Some other Good Life?
Let's talk Meaning of Life stuff, together.
Longevity - to live a long life - to age well - to be able to support and sustain oneself daily into old age - to feel fit and able in whatever tasks one has in old age - what else?
Survival - To live at or above subsistence - to persist despite difficulties in life - to be resilient and bounce back from challenges - to live as one with the natural environment and avoid modern conveniences as a goal (clearly you are not here currently) :) - to heal from an accident or disease each time one happens - what else?
Thriving - To succeed at tasks either chosen or delegated, such as careers and jobs - to demonstrate active passions with your behaviour - to be robust, with some appeal and presence, to have musculature of some kind, with a healthy glow to your skin, some weight on your bones, or otherwise physical health and wellness that make you appear authentically well cared for or responsible for yourself - to have much wealth or abundance with your resources. To have influence in life, the ability to direct or lead others, what else?
Creativity - to create original works, to generate original thoughts, to use one's imagination, to dream, to dare, to be bold and eccentric, to show off one's artistry, to be thorough in examining and demonstrating of one's potential as a creative being, what else?
Procreation - to have a family and legacy, to take on the responsibilities associated with making children, or to raise youth into maturity from their biological beginnings. - animal husbandry and raising meat creatures, bees, or dairy animals etc! - adopting pets and breeding them for others... (Not so happy about including this one, but it happens) what else?
Wisdom - to generate from experience the powers of discernment, information learned, gleaned, and revealed, as well as putting into practice the advice of others with experience. What else?
Virtue - Following your personal code of ethics or your tradition's moral laws. What else?
A Good Life - Being happy. - Being valued and appreciated for what you contribute - what else?
Other - Let's get weird and wonky here - there's got to be stuff I didn't think of.
None - Also valid - life is somewhat pointless if we don't make a point to it. That's nihilism in a nutshell.
