Here it is:
30-Day Spiritual Growth Challenge: Pagan-Flavoured Edition
Try these or similar activities from your own tradition to boost your daily practice. Step out of your comfort zone, or back into your flow. Remember to journal or blog your notes and experiences!
Day 1: Handle a tool that you rarely use, for example a wand with a specific purpose.
Day 2: Do a body scan and return to centre, every time you remember your breath (for example when you gasp, laugh, yawn or sneeze).
Day 3: Do a divination about your day, for example ask a Yes/No question using a pendulum.
Day 4: Shield yourself in a new way. You might visualize an egg or a sphere of light, for example.
Day 5: Go outside, rain or shine, and ground yourself or transmute energies that no longer serve you.
Day 6: Sprout or plant a seed or repot an herb plant.
Day 7: Read an article or listen to a podcast about your path.
Day 8: Do a candle meditation. Pick a colour of candle that represents something to you.
Day 9: Drink an herbal tea (eg, chamomile or peppermint).
Day 10: Pick a chant and sing it for 10 - 15 minutes.
Day 11: Cook a seasonal dish with a magical intention. (Eg. an aphrodisiac)
Day 12: Have a purifying bath (eg. using salts or oils)
Day 13: Write a prayer. It can be worship, gratitude, supplication, or whatever you are called to write.
Day 14: Try a spiritual physical activity, like yoga, tai ch'i or something else that speaks to you.
Day 15: Find or draw a meaningful mandala and use it as a meditative focus, such as the triple-spiral symbol, the triskele.
Day 16: Build your relationship to a higher power through conversation. Use a method of communication you are comfortable with, like runes or deep listening.
Day 17: Find or develop a mudra (gesture) and use it to focus on what it symbolizes for you. For example, holding your arms away from your body and hands with palms facing down to connect with the Earth Goddess.
Day 18: Try an automatic writing exercise after asking for the answer to a question you have.
Day 19: Find or create a mantra or affirmation and chant it for 20 minutes.
Day 20: Examine, read about and charge a crystal with an intention.
Day 21: Ritually cleanse your dwelling, for example with floor washes or smudging.
Day 22: Consecrate or re-consecrate a shrine, altar or magical workspace.
Day 23: Listen to a guided visualisation.
Day 24: Study one symbol you aren't familiar with, for example one of the runes or some form of sacred geometry. Sleep on it (literally draw it on paper and place it under your pillow).
Day 25: Rain or shine, go for a nature walk and identify the animals you see or hear.
Day 26: Pick a chakra or sacred center in your body (eg. the heart cauldron) and work on balancing it.
Day 27: Go portal hopping!
Day 28: Make a good luck charm and give it away.
Day 29: Make an offering to the ancestors (or Being of your choice) and return it to the earth or fire.
Day 30: Learn the story of a myth from your hearth culture. Tell someone your version.
And you're done! I hope this boosts your feelings of meaning, connection, and engagement with your path.
Love, Healing and Wholeness,
Jacki
