For this talk, I set out five questions:
How do we use our spiritual resources to cope with grief, loss, or pain?
How do we access our spirit allies and higher powers to cope with grief, loss, or pain?
How do we find the experience of riding out or "surfing" grief, loss, or pain, by allowing ourselves to feel it?
How do we hide from grief, loss, or pain, and does that serve us, spiritually?
What helps us grow, in these situations of grief, loss or pain?
I think we can visit and re-visit these questions throughout the stages of grieving and suffering. I would love to explore these further here, but I think that the answers are very personal to each individual and the self-reflection piece may be better without any content to lead you in one direction or another with your own processing. It might be worth having a discussion with a close ally or talking to a guide in meditation.
When it feels like you've walked every path you know, and nothing is working, look for a new path outside the boundaries of where you've been.
Don't give up!
